I had the pleasure of working on the Dune Awakening game for the past four years as a Senior Environment Artist.
My responsibilities included working directly in Unreal Engine to ensure that the level environments met both visual and performance requirements, while also collaborating and communicating closely with various departments throughout development. These levels are, of course, the result of a team effort involving many talented individuals. I worked closely with different teams who did an excellent job: Level design, Lighting and Material teams, 3D art, Concept art, and VFX, just to name a few.

• These "Trials of Aql" levels are a series of main story quests that teach players about the native Fremen and Arrakis's dangers.
• For these specific levels, I was responsible for the initial environment exploration, brainstorming visual ideas and making a layout setup in Unreal Engine. I handled all phases of the environment work for these areas, from early design to final polish.
A special shout-out to my talented colleague Gil Monteiro, who was part of the Story team as a 3D artist and created some of those cool 3d Assets that you can see.
